The Elavon Global Acquiring Solutions division is seeking a successful inside sales person, working in a call center environment, will have monthly sales quotas, working Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Under limited supervision, responsible for selling Acquiring, Gateway, and other products and services to prospects and customers in the Hospitality industry which includes, but is not limited to, hotels and restaurants. Requirements: Knowledge of Acquiring products and services, rates, terms, fees and applicable regulations. Selling is the primary function of this position. Sales activities will focus on making outbound sales calls to targeted prospects, and will be handling inbound calls associated with referral partner programs. Calls are predominately routine, but may require deviation from standardized scripts and processes. Will use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on-line tool for lead generation, sales pipeline and tracking. Position requires excellent sales ability, a high school diploma or equivalent and over four years of sales related experience, phone sales and/or Hospitality industry experience is preferable.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Four or more years of sales experience, preferably phone sales
• Experience in and knowledge of merchant payments industry
• Excellent selling, cross-selling and referral skills
• Proficient PC and keyboard skills
• Proven commitment to high quality customer service
• Good time management skills to maximize the number of calls that can be handled on a daily basis
• Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
