U.S. Bank Wealth Management Trust Team Administration Manager in CHICAGO, Illinois
Responsible for oversight and management of the administration, risk management and relationship management of fiduciary and investment accounts for two or more teams of four to eight Personal Trust Administrators. Serves as a resource/coach to their trust administrators and addresses escalated issues. Primary attributes include the diplomacy and disposition to coordinate multiple parties of interest, including beneficiaries, relationship managers, attorneys, accountants and advisors. Provides expert fiduciary advice, demonstrates document interpretation acumen as well as knowledge and application of relevant trust law. Must possess the force of personality and leadership ability to be regarded as a senior fiduciary expert and problem resolution resource for her/his teams. Performs human resources duties such as reviews, hiring and discipline. Responsible for meeting all corporate and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree, advanced degree (JD or LLM) or applicable professional designation such as CTFA or CFP
Eight or more years of experience in financial services, with an emphasis on trust servicing and/or administration
Two or more years in a leadership or management role
Preferred Skills/Experience
Thorough knowledge of the Personal Trust services unit and division, its products, processes, and related bank and regulatory regulations and fiduciary responsibilities
High net worth client and partner support experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for use to both internal and external groups
Strong management skills to include planning, budgeting, and people management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
