U.S. Bank Web / Mobile Applications Design Business Analyst - Brookfield WI Onsite Only in BROOKFIELD, Wisconsin

U.S. Bank’s Integrated Card Systems technology group is seeking a Web / Mobile Applications Design Business Analyst with experience creating Functional Design and UI Specifications to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. This team provides application development services for the Retail Payment Services division of U.S. Bank. Successful candidates will be part of a team located in Portland OR and Brookfield WI, who are responsible for the design of Web and Mobile Applications for numerous front-end channels.

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

-At least 5 years experience with activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience working with business and technical requirements to 1) gain an understanding of project needs and 2) translate the needs into Functional Designs reflecting impacts to user facing front end systems. Experience working with acceptance criteria/business requirements to document specifications is a plus.

  • At least 5 years’ experience documenting web and/or mobile applications using wire frames, mockups, use cases, flow diagrams and other tools related to functional specifications.

The following experience and skills are required:

  • Strong background in Web and Mobile application development, including familiarity with common supporting systems & processes for front end applications (i.e. Services, Content Management, Web Analytic tracking, etc.)

  • Business Analyst experience on Enterprise level Waterfall and Agile projects.

  • Superior professional communication skills accommodating various methods (phone, webex, in person), audiences (one person to a hundred), and perspectives (technical, non-technical); with an emphasis on presenting functional specifications to large groups, both in person and over the phone.

  • Adept at discerning business rules for complex systems to become a subject matter expert (SME) on how the system works.

  • Able to establish and consistently follow multi step procedures with close attention to detail.

Excellent planning and organizational skills including planning and facilitating meetings.

  • Skilled at clear, thorough documentation reflecting User Interface (UI) functionality and flow.

  • Quality Assurance/testing experience encompassing but not limited to comparing functional design to technical designs to design in test environments, ‘Happy Path’ smoke testing and defect resolution.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Visio and Excel.

  • Experience with diagraming user flows

  • Experience with designing for various web styles: Desktop, responsive, mobile optimized

  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills. Able to analyze business rules and requirements related to systems with multiple interconnected applications, services and processes.

  • Able to learn and adapt to frequent change. Changes in tools, procedures, cultures, project resources, project scope, etc.

The following experience is considered a plus:

  • UX design concepts for Web Usability Standards

  • Axure or similar wireframing/prototyping tool

  • Financial Services / Credit Card / Banking technology experience

  • SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise)

  • Version 1
