U.S. Bank Senior Business System Consultant / Solution Architect in Boston, Massachusetts

U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Senior Business Systems Consultant with on-line and mobile experience to contribute toward the success of our digital technology initiatives with the overall goal of allowing our Mortgage and CBSS customers to self-serve using a variety of channels.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with our developers, business stakeholders and vendors to foster product and service concepts from concepts into sustainable solutions. You’ll help creating solution designs and interfaces that bridge technical and business worlds. You’ll network with a broad cross-section of our business in coordinating efforts with individuals in across business lines and vendors. You see the big picture. You’re excited about it. Specific responsibilities include:

-Responsible for consulting to Information Technology and business management on applying technology to business opportunities with respect to the on-line strategy

-Leads System and Data Integration product management and delivery of technology solutions to support large and complex Digital Banking Experience projects integrating mortgage systems with US -Bank Core systems

-Captures, enhances, and ensures the timely delivery of complex project use stories, test cases, data mapping and transformation rules, business rules and configurations.

-Oversees the data sources and research methods used by the team to collect requirements and drive acceptance.

-Responsible for planning and implementing cross-functional applications

-Acts as product manager for specific components of the overall CBSS Servicing Digital Solution

-Analysis, design, and testing in support of business and technology improvements from planning through implementation to support the following capabilities: customer communications, payments, default, and portal solutions.

-Develops and maintains detailed knowledge of business's current technology and USB on-line capabilities and roadmap along with supporting and leading future technology capabilities.

-Defines the team’s development lifecycle, identifies multi-product dependencies, scheduling priorities, and leads improvements over successive releases.

-Participates in design, code, and test planning and reviews across the product/service, understands the root causes of issues, finds ways to resolve them, and validates the efforts and decisions of the team.

-Provides consulting and scrum master services to the digital delivery team

-Develops an on-going support model to ensure on-going availability and support for the digital solution(s)

-Frequently interfaces with business lines, including management, and/or internal resources to ensure quality, timeliness, and testing of all project/release work.

-Leads, technology and application development teams to design or select solutions that appropriately meet the business needs for large and complex projects.

-Reviews and coordinates execution of automated test plans while looking for opportunities to improve testing process.

Position is responsible for supporting the implementation of the digital strategy to support CBSS Servicing. The digital strategic roadmap for CBSS Servicing focuses on mobile while including online, text/email, telephony and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Overall capabilities covered include: customer communications, account management, payments, default, and Responsive Web solutions. Technical scope spans technology platforms ranging from Mainframe systems, Mobile Technologies, On-line, imaging, middleware, and ETL toolsets.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

-At least 10 years experience with activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Extensive experience in:

-At least 5 years’ experience with on-line and mobile applications

-On-line and mobile implementations

-Business and technology consulting

-Information management

-Agile software development

-IT project management

-System analysis

-System testing with experience in test automation

-IT standards, procedures, policy

-Business assessment

-Mortgage and Consumer Servicing experience a plus

Subject matter expert in:

-Requirements analysis with knowledge of test driven requirements

-Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean concepts

-Knowledge of the TFS system and agile backlog and tracking

-Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and within technology and business

-Excellent facilitation skills with business users, business leaders, technology peers and outsourced resources

-Self-motivated and takes ownership and accountability for results

-Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills preferred

-Must be an independent, self-starting team player and have the ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

-Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced analysts and collaborate with internal and external teams

-Ability to work in a matrix environment across multiple projects and technologies
