U.S. Bank Business Process Automation Analyst - Location Flexible in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

U.S. Bank is seeking a Business Process Automation Analyst within Community Banking and Branch Delivery Operations. The analyst will be at the forefront of introducing new and emerging technologies to automate manual processes. S/he will identify opportunities to optimize processes with technology to increase efficiency while reducing operational risk.

This role supports the centralized functions of CBBD Operations along with broader support of key operational priorities throughout CBBD.


  • Collaborate with business partners to craft processes that deliver optimal results with minimal user effort.

  • Leverage new and emerging technologies, such as Advance Process Automation, REST API and more.

  • Introduce innovative automations (i.e., bots and macros) to streamline repetitive workflows and eliminate redundancies.

  • Support team’s efforts in the design and development of web-based technology solutions with a specific focus on process optimization.

  • Assist with business enhancements, engaging business partners as necessary.

  • Analyze new and existing processes to make recommendations for solutions or improvements.

  • Apply proficient knowledge to perform moderate to complex problem solving; provide timely response and solutions.

  • Manage competing priorities, navigate obstacles, and deliver within project deadlines and objectives.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

  • At least 3 years’ experience with project implementation and/or support

  • At least 3 years’ experience in web and/or software development, robotic automation technology or related subject matter or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience building macros and/or Oracle databases

  • Experience writing expressions in JavaScript, Visual Basic, or other comparable configuration/scripting type technology

  • Experience with agile or agile-like methodology
