U.S. Bank Strategic Capacity Project Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

This dynamic, innovative senior leadership position is responsible for:

Enhancing the strategic capabilities of the collections group to optimize net credit loss (NCL) performance, production, cost, compliance, and the customer experience.

  • Owning the strategic one, three, and five-year collection plans of action to reduce NCL and financial budgeting.

  • Leading and participating in unique assignments across functions to unify the customer experience.

  • Partnering with both the Pre and Post Charge-Off Directors on strategic assignments to reduce net credit loss.

  • Understand industry best practices and vendor capabilities to enhance the collection/recovery process

  • Formulating recommendations and influencing senior leaders on future direction and initiatives to attain optimal performance and work environment.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of operations experience in the financial services industry

  • Five or more years of supervisory/management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Expert knowledge of assigned business line or functional area

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication, organizational, strategic thinking, analytical, presentation, and influential skills.

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills

  • Advanced knowledge of project management

  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
