Job Description

Position Highlights

  • Balance and create multiple Daily Settlements on the 3 MPS platforms using automation tools.

  • Prepare and upload journal entries using Oracle Financials

  • Research Settlement issues and accounting discrepancies

  • Resolve escalations from multiple Reconciliation Groups.

  • Maintain Sox Controls.

  • Assist with automation of manual processes.

  • Liaison with Project and FCS Team on all new conversions, process improvements and regulatory releases.

  • Work closely with the Global Account Reconciliation Teams to resolve out of balance in order to prevent financial risk to Elavon.

  • Update procedure documentation.

  • Assist with the various yearly audits.

  • Suggest process improvements

  • Escalate issues resulting from the Settlement process.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to four years of experience in financial accounting activities

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Be able to multitask and manage the workload in order to meet deadlines

  • Ability to review and analysis data in a clear and concise manner in order to resolve out of balances and issues.

  • Intermediate Excel Skills

  • 7:00/7:30am EST start time to provide service to our Global partners in Ireland and Poland.

  • Goal Oriented and Strong Follow Up Skills

  • Experience with Oracle Financials

  • Attention to Detail

  • Must be able to effectively communicate information\issues to internal and external contacts

  • Taking Initiative

  • Being able to work independently with little guidance from management

  • Flexible work schedule

  • Experience with multi currencies

  • Experience in dealing with audit requirements

  • Ability to gather data from several sources to understand and clear items.

Hybrid/flexible schedule

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $58,650.00 - $69,000.00 - $75,900.00
