U.S. Bank Senior QA Group Manager - Digital Channels in ATLANTA, Georgia

U.S. Bank is seeking a Digital Banking Senior Quality Assurance Testing Group Manager with demonstrated test management and resource management experience to contribute toward the success of our digital banking technology initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

Responsible for development and support of testing processes and practices necessary to produce quality products/services and manage risk.

Drives strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the testing organization through the leverage of industry best testing practices, tools, and test automation techniques.

Partners with strategic QA vendors to augment staff to support technology initiatives in the most cost efficient way possible.

Oversees review and audit of activities including processes, procedures, and software products; to verify quality and compliance with applicable standards and provides results to managers.

Partners with application group and project management senior management to oversee early stages to establish plans, standards, and procedures that will add value to a project or process and satisfy constraints.

Recruits, hires, coaches, and develops employees.

Conducts performance assessments. Executes corrective actions including termination, if necessary.

Manages managers and an extended team of over 100 employees and contractors. Approves hires, transfers, terminations, salary adjustments, performance standards, and reviews.

Basic Qualifications 


-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

-At least 10 years of experience with the processes, tools, techniques and practices for assuring adherence to quality standards associated with developing, enhancing and operationalizing application systems and databases.


Preferred Skills/Experience 


Extensive experience in:

-Requirements analysis 

-Automated testing 

-Agile project delivery

-Application delivery process

-IT standards, procedures, policy

-Application testing
