U.S. Bank Digital Marketing Analytics Manager - Multiple Locations in Atlanta, Georgia

The Digital Marketing Analytics Manager is a key member of the Digital Marketing Analytics and Data Science team on the Enterprise Research & Analytics team. Responsibilities include a strong understanding of implementation and usage of web analytics and tagging tools – primarily Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Ensighten, Telium and others. In addition, ability to translate that knowledge into action via a data management platform and site personalization/optimization tools – primarily Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Target. This role will play a major role in building and expanding new digital analytics capabilities primarily working inside an Agile studio with marketing, risk and technology resources. The role requires strong business analysis, relationship building, project management and leadership skills.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve gaps in web analytics/tagging implementation; expand web analytics/tagging capabilities to new platforms

• Establish digital dashboards to track overall digital success with breakdowns by channel and campaign

• Proactive and reactive analysis of site trends and campaign performance against business goals

• Deliver insights and provide actionable recommendations based on reported results, benchmarks, discovered patterns and all necessary context

• Translate analytics insights into actionable traits (first, second and third-party data) within a data management platform (build, maintenance, monitor, and retire) and site personalization/optimization platform

• Ongoing pursuit of deep understanding of the web analytics, tagging, data management and site personalization/optimization tools to identify untapped opportunities (specifically driving towards utilization of AI/ML driven capabilities) and track/understand/take action on new features as they roll out; liaison with internal partners and vendors as needed for strong partnership vision and goals

• Act as a consultative partner to key stakeholders throughout the bank to drive strategic targeting and measurement plans across initiatives

• Collaborate with media and advertising partners where necessary to ensure common understanding and utilization of targeting, analytics and reporting


Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree in data and technology management, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to ten years of experience in data management and business intelligence in the financial services industry

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science or applied mathematics or similar

  • Experience working with digital analytics and marketing automation technologies

  • Direct experience with analytics technologies such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Ensighten, Telium, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, Acxiom, Tableau, Hadoop, R

  • Strong technical skills with SQL, MS Excel and MS Power Point

  • Experience packaging and presenting analytical output

  • Thorough knowledge of data science and management

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
