Elavon is currently seeking a Commercial Product Owner who will be responsible for end to end commercialization of software products for our customers and partners. Specifically, the Commercial Product Owner will lead Elavon’s product roadmap for omni-channel customer and partner engagement, including web portals, mobile applications, SMS/email notifications, and revenue opportunities through digitally enabling value added services. Elavon is intently focusing on deeper collaboration and engagement with our customers and partners and these components are fundamental to our success in this space. The Commercial Product Owner is a highly visible role and will directly impact product strategy within these areas.
As a Commercial Product Owner for our customer & partner engagement platforms, you will be responsible for:
Identifying customer and partner needs
Identifying market positioning and distribution strategies
Developing and evangelizing the program vision and roadmap
Setting standards for customer and user experience
Partnering closely with Technical Product Owners and Scrum teams
Prioritizing program features
Setting up Go to Market (GTM) teams for success
Defining and executing launch plans, pilots, betas and releases
Owning responsibility for program revenue and profitability
Assessing competitive landscape and developing strategies for staying ahead of competitors
10 or more years of related work experience.
Comprehensive to expert knowledge of the assigned business line and technical marketing skills.
Strong product management, design and development skills.
Strong knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis.
Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated marketing and marketing research skills.
Thorough knowledge of competitive market, operations and various products and services within assigned area.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Strong financial and competitive analysis and PC skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
8 or more years of experience as a Product Owner with demonstrated success in defining and launching products preferably in Payments or Financial Services.
Payments industry and/or FinTech background strongly preferred.
Experience working with teams within the Agile framework strongly desired.
Exceptional leadership and inter-personal skills with the ability to direct and motivate the product teams and stakeholders to align with the vision and roadmap.
Ability to drive consensus among stakeholders with varying viewpoints, incentives, expertise, and seniority.
Attention-to-detail and the passion to bring ideas to life.
Pragmatic Marketing Framework™ certification preferred but not required.
