U.S. Bank Advertising/Marketing Manager in Annapolis, Maryland

U.S. Bank is currently seeking an Advertising/Marketing Manager, who will directly, and with the support of direct reports, oversee U.S. Bank-branded consumer and business card corporate marketing initiatives for Retail Payment Services (RPS). He/she will act as the main point of contact for the RPS Branch Channel Management team. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Regularly monitors RPS Marketing Shared mailbox for new project requests;

  • Delegates incoming projects amongst the team;

  • Supports RPS with development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic marketing and advertising campaigns, including:

  • In-branch promotions

  • Branch Sales Support materials

  • Branch POP updates

  • Sponsorships support:

  • Serves as marketing lead for RPS-funded sponsorships;

  • Acts as liaison between RPS partners and the corporate sponsorship group; and

  • Ensures RPS interests are represented and contractual terms and conditions are met.

  • Executes and provides support to team members to execute projects, including:

  • Schedules meeting with BL to review request and confirm expectations;

  • Collaborates with agencies in the creation, development, and implementation of advertising campaigns across media channels, including TV, radio, digital, and social media;

  • Partners with RPS Branch Channel Management team to:

  • facilitate reviews

  • consolidate feedback

  • Secures approvals for each round of creative development;

  • Serves as the branding interface between creative agencies and the business lines, including:

  • Ensures that all marketing materials, advertising campaigns, and promotions meet the required U.S. Bank Brand Guidelines; and

  • Engages with Internal Graphics to ensure brand compliance.

  • Serves as first-line-of-marketing support for the leaders of RPS, as well as marketing Subject Matter Expert for Regional Marketing teams; and

  • Collaborates with product managers and U.S. Bank internal teams to develop materials and ad campaigns - internal teams include, but are not limited to:

  • Corporate Design Team

  • RPS Social Media Team

  • RPS Email Team

  • Corporate Communications

  • Compliance

  • Legal.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, advertising or related field

  • Eight to ten years of experience in advertising or marketing industry

  • Four or more years of management experience

  • Advanced knowledge of the competitive market, banking operations, and U.S. Bancorp's products and services
